Recruiting skilled and motivated professionals is getting more and more difficult. Companies compete to offer the best working conditions and packages to fulfill their candidates' wishes.

Urban Index provides a solution to attract and retain the best professionals in your company.

What do we offer?

Lunch & Learn

An onboarding session to introduce your employees to France and give them the necessary tips to navigate the country.

Over the course of 1 hour, we cover topics as diverse as housing (how to rent and to avoid scams...), health (getting a carte vitale, parcours de soin...) and taxes.

Workshops

We host workshops for your employees. One topic will be covered during the session and employees will be able to ask all of their questions

The workshop lasts up to 2 hours and topics will be tailored to your needs.

Communities

A group chat will be set up for your company to get in touch with us.

Your employees will also access our community of expats, willing to share their experiences and tips about settling and living in France.

Individual Support

We can help your employees to go through all of the various processes and formalities in one to one sessions.

With this service, we accompany your employees according to their needs while giving them control over their own processes.

The Team

Juliette

Juliette was born in Berlin and grew up as a third culture kid all over before moving to the UK for her studies, and then France in 2015.

Both times, settling in England and again in France, sparked the idea for this website. Not having a complete resource with instructions and answers.

From dangerous landlords to fake working contracts, getting utterly lost in administration or landing dead-end internships, Juliette has experienced it and is now dedicated to help others like her avoid the same traps.

Amaury

Amaury is the French component of the team, he was born in Paris and has lived there for 15 years. He has worked in France (Paris and Toulouse), the UK and in Qatar.

During his experiences abroad, he was confronted with the classic issues of an expat like opening a bank account, making sure you have health insurance...

Sam

Sam is originally from the UK and has lived in the Netherlands, Germany and France. In Paris since 2018, he has worked as an Au Pair, Recruiter and now as a Web Developer.

When he's not in front of a computer screen you can find him on a bicycle in the streets of Paris.

Having moved many times and dealt with the post-Brexit visa process, he loved the idea of providing a thorough resource to help people navigate the challenges of discovering a new country!
